Business Constellations

Every company is a living system, shaped by everyone who built it, left it, or was never given a place.

A constellation reveals what no report can capture. You see in an hour what's been unclear for years, and the company can move again.

What it is

A business constellation is a way of seeing your company from the outside, as a whole. It grew out of family constellation work and is based on the same insight: every system follows certain principles, and when they're disturbed, the effects show up in places that seem unrelated.

In a company, that might be a founder who was never properly acknowledged after leaving, a department that carries more than its share, a product that no longer fits the company's purpose, or a merger that was never fully completed. These things rarely appear in a strategy deck, yet they influence decisions, culture, and growth every day.

How it works

We start with a conversation about the question you bring: a tension in the team, stalled growth, a decision you keep circling, or a sense that something is off.

Then people are chosen to stand in for parts of your company: the founders, the team, clients, the product, the market, even the money.

They're placed in the room in relation to each other. Without knowing much about your business, the representatives often feel and express the dynamics at play with surprising accuracy: who is pulled toward whom, who feels excluded, where the energy stops.

Thomas guides the process, reading what's happening and testing small changes in position or a few simple sentences.

You watch from the outside, and often for the first time you see the whole picture.

Once something is seen and acknowledged, the system can reorganize itself, and the right next step usually becomes obvious.

Constellations can be done with a group of representatives, with your own team, or one-on-one, using objects or floor markers instead of people.

When it helps

Tension between founders, partners, or within the team that won't resolve

Growth that stalls, despite a good strategy and a good product

A decision that keeps getting postponed

A succession, merger, reorganization, or departure that left something unfinished

A company that no longer feels aligned with its purpose

Recurring patterns, like the same problem returning with different people

What it brings

The most immediate result is clarity.

You see what's really going on, rather than discussing symptoms.

The clarity makes decisions easier, because you know what you're actually deciding about.

It also brings relief. Tension that has been building for years often softens once its source is acknowledged. Teams can work together again, founders can let go of what they've been carrying, and energy that went into friction becomes available for growth.

And it goes fast. One constellation can reveal what months of meetings and analysis didn't, because it shows the system as a whole, not just the parts that are easy to talk about.

What comes after

A constellation is often a beginning.

Insights from the session can feed into systemic coaching for the founder, team conversations, or the brand strategy work that follows.

Because a business can only grow as far as what's underneath allows it to.
